Chase Cochran

Updated: May 13, 2013

Chase Cochran joined the Big 2 team in September of 2010 as a studio cameraman/floor director. But, it was only a matter of time before this hard worker was sent out into the field as the evening videographer.

As a videographer he collects video, interviews people, and edits his video to be shown on TV.

Chase is a native Texan, born and raised. He graduated in the Lee High School class of 2009. While at Lee he was the Theater Historian, documenting each play and activity with his camera.  Then he made a video out of everything he filmed at the end of each school year, a precursor of the work he would do at Big2 KMID. He also filmed unofficially for the school ROTC and filmed a few weddings.

Out of high school Chase moved to Houston where he went to film school and starred in a few independent films, but it wasn't long until he missed west Texas living and returned.

Though he misses acting, Chase definitely has a passion for capturing events and talking to the people in the community.

"It's a thrill to wake up every morning, put on my boots, go out, and see different things and meet different people everyday."

Needless to say, Chase has no plans of leaving the basin anytime soon.
