August will go down in the record books as one of our hottest months here in the Permian Basin regardless of these last couple days. That being said, expect another daily record today as temps top out at 105, Wednesday will be another hot day in the Basin with triple digits hanging around again but September comes Thursday with changes! Temps will be a bit closer to normal for the first week of September with middle 90's lasting through the weekend under mostly sunny skies. Enjoy this nicer weather because it's not going to last too long, the triple digits heat returns by the end of next week!
