Today will end the month of August with another triple digit day as we heat back to near 100 degrees. This will put August 2011 into the record books as the hottest August on record. September starts Thursday and brings big changes to the forecast, changes for the better! The skies will stay mostly sunny and temps will remain hot but not nearly as hot as they have been. How bout 90's the first week of September? The first couple days will be in the upper 90's but by the end of the weekend, lower to middle 90's will take over. An approaching cold front is on its way Sunday  and will bring a chance for storms. Timing and placing is still uncertain so for now just plan on a much more comfortable Labor Day Weekend.
