Walk to Help Stop Diabetes Saturday

ODESSA -- The American Diabetes Association is gearing up for its "Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes" 5K walk in Odessa this weekend.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 24th at Memorial Gardens Park. Registration begins at 8:30 AM. The walk starts at 9:30 AM.

The event is hoping to raise $60,000 to fund diabetes research.

Melinda Henderson, the Permian Basin Area Manger with the American Diabetes Association, previews the event on Good Morning West Texas.
