A slow-moving cold front just north of the Permian Basin will spark a few isolated storms this evening across the northern Basin. A few more storms could pop up in the mountains similar to yesterday but Thursday still stands to be the best day for rain. The slow moving cold front will speed up and surge south early Thursday bringing more storms to the Permian Basin. Expect more rain along with clouds and much cooler temps, Thursday temps will drop out of the 90's and into the 70's for most of the Basin. By Friday, skies clear out and 80's return with 90's this weekend.
