University Lands Lease Sale Breaks Another Record

Midland - It was a huge day for University Lands as they hosted their 120th Oil and Gas Lease Sale. With more than 700 tracks, not only was it their biggest sale in history, it was also record-breaking.

After all the bids were in, almost 320 sold bringing in a record $310 million for University Lands. Just to give you an idea, their last sale, which broke the previous record, brought in $247 million..

Big 2 had a chance to speak with Texas Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson and University Lands Executive Direction Jim Benson. Mycah Glover will share what they had to say about sale and where all that money during Thursday night's Big 2 Energy Report.
