Pink the Basin Breast Cancer Luncheon

MIDLAND -- Pink the Basin is a month of events to raise breast cancer awareness in West Texas.
Yesterday women gathered at the horseshoe arena for a breast cancer awareness luncheon.
The Laura Bush Institute for Women's Health put together the luncheon, the proceeds of which go to helping women without health insurance pay for mammograms.
Author Kelly Corrigan spoke at the luncheon, sharing the story about how she and her father were diagnosed with cancer at the same time.
