After a warm afternoon with a partly sunny sky, a strong cold front will sweep through the Permian Basin. Isolated storms are possible first along a dryline but most of us will stay dry. Shortly after sunset tongiht our winds will shift out of the north and get much stronger. Gusts could reach into the 40 mph range blowing dust and debris after the evening commute. Along with gusty north winds, temps will plummet into the 40's by sunrise and hangout near 50 all day Thursday. Clouds and off and on showers will last most of the day Thursday before clearing out Thursday evening. By Friday morning temps will have cooled to just above freezing! High pressure moves in though and sunshine shines brightly through the weekend with temps rebounding to the 70's!
