Billions Wasted Waiting on Cable Guy

Waiting around for the cable guy to show up isn't just a waste of your time; it's also a huge waste of money.

A new poll shows waiting for in-home services will cost American workers $37.7 billion this year. More than half of those polled say they waited an average of four and a half hours for their appointment to show up.

The poll shows, cable techs kept customers waiting the longest, but internet technicians and furniture delivery people also making the list.
