High pressure building in behind a strong cold front will reinforce the cold air sinking into the Permian Basin. Today's temps will top out in the upper 50's and drop to near freezing overnight tonight. Be sure to protect your three P's... Pets, Pipes and Plants! Thursday will also be a chilly day with highs near 60 but the 70's return by the weekend, along with a breezy west wind Saturday.
