INDIANA -- Veterans Day is a great day to remember the people who fought for this country and who are fighting right now.

"...If he were here right now I'd tell him thanks for serving us," said Jesse Anderson a 7th grader from Greencastle Indiana at an assembly for Veteran's Day. Just seconds after finishing the speech his older brother Cody surprised him.

The surprise mission to bring Cody home from overseas was a lot of work. Cody is an Air Force Aviation Electronics Technician, who just finished his third and final tour of Afghanistan.

Cody says it feels great to be home. Quickly after arriving home, Cody was rushed to Greencastle Middle School's Veterans Day Ceremony.

The school and the Anderson family were very secretive, not even telling the teachers until the very last minute.

The surprise was it was Jesse's birthday, and he says its the best gift ever.
