New Entertainment Complex Coming To Midland

MIDLAND -- A new movie theater is slated to come the Permian Basin, and the company says it will boast the largest movie screen between Dallas and Phoenix.

    Cinergy Cinemas is scheduled to announce the new development project in Midland Wednesday morning.

    Big 2 News spoke to Cinergy's CEO Tuesday. The CEO told Big 2 that the movie theater and entertainment complex will be built at Gateway Plaza at the corner of Loop 250 and Business 20.

    The complex will have 11 movie screens -- including one 71 x 40 foot HD screen billed as the largest between Dallas and Phoenix. It will also have a 50 game arcade, a laser maze, mini bowling and a ropes course.
