A Day That Will Live in Infamy the 70th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor

"December 7, 1941 a date that will live in infamy." -- President Franklin D. Roosevelt
Seventy years ago President Roosevelt spoke those words and they rang true then as they still do today.
The attack on Hawaii's Pearl Harbor plunged America into World War II. Survivors say the memories of that infamous day will forever be etched in their minds.
That Sunday morning Japanese fighter jets swooped in with a surprise attack, and after it was over 2,400 American lives were lost.
On today's anniversary of the all the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association will commemorate the tragedy for the last time. The group is disbanding at the end of December. The Pearl Harbor Survivors Association was founded in 1958. Another group, The Sons and Daughters of Pearl Harbor Survivors, says it will carry the baton.
With few survivors still alive, those left worry the reality of the attack will die with them. Saying history books only devote half a page to Pearl Harbor and younger generations don't understand what happened.
