Justin Daniel Free was arrested on December 2nd.
Police say Free, 21, was frustrated about pending court charges against him on December 2nd, and he made several threats at his parents' home in the 3500 block of Roosevelt Drive.
When Free's parents tried to intervene, Free grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened to kill them if they got close to him.
Police were called to the home, but Free reportedly threatened to kill them with the knife as well.
Police say Free's father was eventually able to get him to drop the knife. Then, he allegedly took his son to the ground.
Free reportedly got away, and tried to escape -- before locking himself in the bathroom. Police were eventually able to arrest him at the home.
Now, Free is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and retaliation. He's being held on $300,000 bond.
