LAS VEGAS -- Nevada First Lady Kathleen Sandoval is urging anyone thinking about suicide to reach out for help.

Her call comes after a ten-year-old boy shot himself to death earlier this week and a 13-year-old girl tried to take her own life.

Her attempt was unsuccessful and the teen remains hospitalized.

Mrs. Sandoval says there are resources for anyone needing assistance. They include the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-TALK, or on the Internet at suicideprevention.nv.gov.
