MIDLAND -- Midland Police have arrested a fourth person in connection to a recent murder at a Midland apartment complex.

Grant Fowler, 19, has been charged with capital murder for the fatal shooting, which happened at the Park at Caldera apartments early on the morning of December 23rd.

Edwin Ledell Smith Jr., 20, Reginald Omar Anders Jr., 21, and Ashton Patrice Brazell, 17, are also facing the same charges as Fowler.

Additionally, Fowler, Smith and Anders could be facing federal charges -- although it's unclear at this time if those potential charges are related to the shooting. None of the three were listed in Midland County jail records Tuesday evening -- meaning that they either bonded out or could be in federal custody.

Brazell is still being held on $251,000 bond for capital murder and failure to identify.

Midland Police say Fowler, Smith, Anders and Brazell shot and killed 25-year-old Tovorian Carter during a disturbance at his apartment around 1 AM on December 23rd.

Court documents with details on the incident have been sealed by the 385th District Court in Midland.
