PRESIDIO -- An Ojinaga man is busted while allegedly trying to smuggle hundreds of pounds of marijuana across the border.

According to the Big Bend Sentinel, Customs and Border Patrol officers in Presidio found 178 pounds of marijuana in metal compartments in the fuel tank of a Chevy Silverado at the Presidio Port of Entry on February 22nd.

The Silverado's driver -- Abraham Wiebe-Krahn -- was arrested and charged with importing a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute. Wiebe-Krahn, 30, is from Ojinaga.

Officers say this is the biggest smuggling bust at the Presidio Port of Entry since October.
