WEST TEXAS - The MHS Bulldogs were sitting atop of the district standings at 4-0 heading into Friday's game against Abilene. The Bulldogs scored the first 9 runs of the game and only needed 5 innings to take care of the Eagles 14-3.

Lee came into Friday's game at 2-1 in district play. Abilene Cooper proved to be too much as they take down the Rebels 8-3, handing them only their 6th loss on the season.

And the Permian Panthers got 7 runs but that wasn't enough as they fall for the 11th straight game 14-7 against San Angelo Central.
