1 Dead, 2 Injured In Odessa Mall Parking Lot Shooting

ODESSA -- One person is dead, two injured, after gunfire outside the Music City Mall.

Odessa Police say that several people were refusing to leave the 10 Sports Bar and Grill around 1:30 AM Saturday.  While police were on their way, they received several calls of gunfire in the Music City Mall parking lot.

Two people with gunshot wounds were found in the southeast parking lot, and they were rushed to Medical Center Hospital.  A third person with a gunshot wound was already being taken to M.C.H. in a private vehicle.

Pablo Jimenez died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.

Jovanie Bernal and Jesus Garcia were both treated for their wounds.

Police are describing the shooter as an African-American male between 5' 10" and 6' 0" weighing about 180 lbs.  He left the scene in a white vehicle.
