DAWSON COUNTY -- A Lamesa man dies in a rollover crash in Dawson County.

Texas Department of Public Safety officials tell Big 2 that 25-year-old Jeremy Lee Luera was driving north on U.S. 87 on Friday morning when his Buick LaSabre went off the road about 0.3 miles north of County Road 31 in Dawson County.

Luera overcorrected, and the Buick flipped over.

Luera was rushed to University Medical Center in Lubbock after the crash.

Luera, 25, was pronounced dead at U.M.C. around 11:50 AM Friday.

Troopers say Luera was a nursing assistant in Lamesa.
