Death Valley Now Named Hottest Place on Earth

Americans seeking the hottest place on earth won't have to travel far.
Death Valley National Park in California is officially the hottest place in the world.
A World Meteorological Organization panel recently found that the record set in 1922 in El Azizia, Libya was incorrect.
Now researchers say the correct hot spot was actually recorded in 1913 in Death Valley.
So what's it take to claim the number one spot?
A temperature of 134-point-four-degrees.
