Midland Planning And Zoning Commission Approves New Chevron Office Space

MIDLAND -- Chevron is one step closer to building new offices in Midland.

    The energy giant is planning on building a new Tall City office complex at the corner of Tradewinds Boulevard and Deauville Boulevard (near the Scharbauer Sports Complex.

    The Midland Planning and Zoning commission unanimously approved the development of the 76 acre area on September 17th.

    Under the plan, Chevron would build new workspace on 25 acres in the area.

    The site must now be annexed by the City of Midland, so that construction can move forward on the project.

    The Midland City Council could vote on the annexation as soon as October.
