ODESSA -- Community forums are hoping to help educate people about the upcoming Ector County I.S.D. bond election.

Monday evening, Odessans For Kids - a group formed to support the bond - held a public forum at Permian High School.

The E.C.I.S.D. bond is asking for almost $130 million to fund three new elementary schools, expand the high schools and shift the district to a middle school model.

Tuesday, Odessans For Kids is hosting two more community forums.
    - 6:00 p.m. at  Blackshear Elementary
    - 6:30 p.m. at Ector Jr. High

Election day is November 6th.
