Romney Supporters More Likely to Go Green

Democrats are generally thought to be the more eco-friendly party.

But a new Harris interactive poll found Republicans are actually doing more to be energy efficient.

64% of Mitt Romney supporters reported making "green" improvements to their homes over the last five years.

That's compared to the 58-percent of President Barack Obama supporters.
   
A desire to save money was the motivating factor for both sides.

85% of respondents said lower energy costs convinced them to go green.

Concern for the environment was the least mentioned factor.
