Hobbs (NM) Magistrate Judge Resigns In Middle Of Term

HOBBS, NM -- The City of Hobbs, NM will soon have a new magistrate judge.
Hobbs Magistrate Judge Barry Peters has resigned.
Peters was elected to the bench in November 2010, but he's decided to pursue new interests.
Peters' last day on the bench will be on September 28th.
New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez will now appoint a replacement judge, who will serve on the bench until Peters' term ends in 2014.
