Olympic Bronze Medalist to Speak at Junior League of Midland Event

MIDLAND -- Junior League of Midland presents a Family First event "A Night of Heroes" with Keynote Speaker Olympic Bronze Medalist Marlen Esparza.

Family First is a program geared for the entire family and evolves each year to cover topics of relevance in our changing world as well as help families deal with important issues and learn how to spend quality time with each other. It teaches the importance of a family bond. It is a day full of food, fun activities for children and parents as well as informational speakers for teens and adults.

Family First is a community placement that addresses the JLM Focus Area of "Family Education." Each year the event evolves to present relevant topics to our guests. Previous topics of Family First include health & nutrition, parenting & mentoring, and literacy
