Temperatures will cool behind the front and winds will be breezy during the morning.  Moisture will be present allowing for increased cloud cover through Friday.

Thursday scattered storms could develop mainly in the higher terrain of Southeast New Mexico and the Guadalupe and Davis Mountains.  A cold front will spark thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening.  Some storms could be strong to severe with heavy rain and gusty winds.

Dry air will shuffle in for Saturday and Sunday
