The Big Spring Herald reports that Felix Lee Jaramillo submitted his appeal to the 11th District Court of Appeals in Eastland last week.
Jaramillo, 33, was sentenced to 60 years in prison and fined $10,000 in September 2010.
Big Spring Police say that Jaramillo, Clifford Leon Anglin, Phillip G. Martinez and a 16-year-old juvenile invaded a home in the 600 block of State Street in Big Spring in June 2010.
The men and teen -- who were all reportedly wearing masks or bandanas -- allegedly robbed the home at gunpoint and took off in a vehicle.
Police pulled over the vehicle moments later, after they saw it driving without headlights in the dark.
Jaramillo and Martinez reportedly tried to run, but police caught up to them and arrested them.
Anglin, 27, was also sentenced to 60 years in prison for his role in the incident.
Anglin appealed his conviction, but the 11th District Court of Appeals upheld the appeal.
Martinez, 23, was convicted and sentenced to 14 years in prison in February 2011.
