Strong to Severe Thunderstorms in the Forecast through Friday Night, 10-11-12

Best areas for thunderstorms will be southeast New Mexico and the upper Trans Pecos this afternoon and evening. Storms will be isolated to scattered with hail, gusty winds and heavy rain being the main threats.
Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible again Friday afternoon and night. This will be Midland and Odessa's best chance to see thunderstorms. Again storms will have the ability to have large hail, gusty winds heavy rain and frequent lightning strikes. The strongest of storms is more like to occur in the panhandle. After storms develop the storm motion will be to the northeast.
Dry air will filter in Saturday and last through early next week.
