STANTON -- Business-20 is back open, after an alleged armed woman forced a closure of the main thoroughfare through the city of Stanton.

We're told the armed woman climbed up a cell phone/radio tower around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Law enforcement officials on the scene wouldn't say anything else about what she was armed with, or her motives, nor would they release her identity.

Tx-DOT says it shutdown Business-20, from Interstate-20 east to State Highway 137 for about an hour --- from around 6 to 7 p.m. --- as authorities "handled the situation."

We're told the woman climbed down.

It's unclear if she'll be facing any charges or not.
