American Airlines Cancelling Flights

By: Big 2 News Staff
Updated: October 15, 2012
American Airlines passengers can expect some pretty packed flight over the next month or so.

The company just announced it is canceling about 31 flights a day through mid-November.

The airline originally said it was scaling back the number of seat sales through the end of this month.

American has been dealing with financial and labor issues.

In the past month, more than a thousand American flights have been canceled and 12,000 were delayed.

A spokesman says this move will help the company to get its performance levels back to normal.
