ODESSA -- A traffic stop for an expired registration turned into a one-way trip to jail for an Odessa woman, after police reportedly found crack cocaine on her.

Chelsa Lashae Mosby was arrested on October 10th.

Odessa Police pulled over Mosby, 21, in the 300 block of South Grant Avenue (U.S. 385) due to an expired registration around 1:15 AM on October 10th.

Officers quickly found out that Mosby had a warrant out for failure to maintain proof of insurance, and they searched her in preparation for an arrest.

During the search, officers reportedly found several rocks of crack cocaine.

The cocaine reportedly weighed between 4 and 200 grams.

Now, Mosby is charged with possession of a controlled substance and 2 traffic violations.

As of Monday evening, Mosby wasn't listed in jail records at the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
