Oilfield theft is obviously a huge problem here in the Permian Basin. Tell me a little about what Finley does to help in that whole process?

In our security division we actually have licensed and unarmed security guards, most of the time, for on sight security if our clients require that kind of supervision for their property and their buildings and inventory. So we can do that. We can provide a guard booth as well at gates and do gate security for those coming and going at properties.

We also have a security camera division where we can go in and install security cameras. We also provide a monitoring system, regular employees who sit and watch live feed such as what we have back here. That cuts the time. If they see someone on the property that shouldn't be there, especially on the evening hours then they can call law enforcement immediately and we can catch them in the act, which has happened several times and we're very proud of that.

We also have the capabilities of going in and providing that service for those who already have security cameras in place. We can provide that service as well. We're very proud of our security division. If something does happen where we have clients that don't have security guards or surveillance cameras, then we do have an investigation division also that can go out and work with our clients as far as tracking down missing property, theft, vandalism. We also have individuals that will go out and make sure that we can provide a service that will anticipate the needs of our clients in that regard as well. So we're very proud of what we can do for the oil field industry and we're glad to be of service.

If I have equipment that is being stolen, what do I need to do to get in contact with you so an investigation can begin?

We have a website, www.oilfieldsecurity.com  but for immediate access they're more than welcome to call us at our office. We answer 24-7. Our number is (432) 561-5660, and it will be answered 34-7, 365 days a year. We'll be happy to help.

If I have equipment stolen, I'm going to call law enforcement. Why should I call you as well?

I think the quicker we can get on sight the better. Our investigators, including our owner and manager Tom Finley, are all law enforcement individuals who have had extensive experience in doing investigations and following up on theft, vandalism, any kind of those events. The sooner they get in touch with us the sooner we can get on the job and help them out.

We're very happy to be here at the Oil Show. This is our first time to have a booth so we can show the industry what we can do to help out. We may not drill oil wells but we sure can help them in other aspects of their business.
