ODESSA -- A second person has died after a 3-vehicle wreck that involved an Ector County I.S.D. school bus.

Odessa Police say that Katie Butler passed away on October 17th.

Butler, 87, was reportedly driving south on East Loop 338 in a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban around 4 PM on October 9th, when she slowed down to make a left turn onto Riders Road.

Officers say a 2010 Toyota Tundra smashed into the Suburban -- sending the S.U.V. skidding sideways into a light pole.

Meanwhile, the Tundra crashed oncoming Ector County I.S.D. school bus stopped at the intersection of East Loop 338 and East University Boulevard.

A total of 44 students from L.B.J. Elementary were on the bus. Luckily, none of the students -- or the bus driver -- were hurt.

Katie Butler and her passenger -- Albert Butler -- were rushed to M.C.H. after the crash.

Albert Butler, 82, died on October 12th.

The driver of the Tundra -- Dustin Blake Taylor of Midland -- was also rushed to M.C.H. with non-life-threatening injuries.

Taylor, 41, has since been released from the hospital.

No charges were filed for the crash.
