ODESSA -- A Permian Basin group is working to get voters more information on the candidates in West Texas races for the 2012 election.

Una Voz Unida will host a candidate forum at 6:30 PM on October 23rd at La Margarita (1301 South Grant Avenue) in Odessa.

Both Odessa mayoral candidates -- David Turner and Mark Ritter --  have said they will attend the forum.

Ector County Commissioner candidate Steve Tercero and incumbent Dave Childers are also slated to attend the forum.

The candidates will be able to talk about pressing issues at the forum, as they continue working towards election day.

Big 2 News Director and Anchor Karl Rundgren will also be serving as one of the non-partisan moderators at the event.
