WARD COUNTY -- Some lanes will be closed along a major road near Monahans the next few days.

TXDOT officials say that some lanes on TX 18 south of Interstate 20 will be closed for roadwork on November 14th and 15th.

Both northbound and southbound traffic will have to use one lane each in the area, as crews work on the roadway.

The work will start at 7 AM each morning and last through the day.

All lanes will be open at night.

While work is ongoing, drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes.
