ECTOR COUNTY -- United States Marshals arrest an alleged sexual predator in Odessa.

U.S. Marshals from Midland and Pecos teamed up with Ector County Sheriff's deputies on the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force to arrest James Roczniak around 11:45 AM Wednesday.

Marshals and deputies found Roczniak, 40, hiding under a house along Yukon Road, north of Odessa.

Roczniak had been on the run, after an Ector County grand jury indicted for 24 counts of sexual assault.

Roczniak also had two outstanding felony D.W.I. arrest warrants.

U.S. Marshals, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Ector County Sheriff's Office and Ector County I.S.D Police assisted in the search for Roczniak before his arrest.

As of Wednesday evening, Roczniak was being held in the Ector County Law Enforcement Center on $140,000 bond.
