Health Insurance Rates See Smallest Spike in 15 Years

That's according to a survey of 2,800 companies by human resources consultant Mercer.
The increase was just 4.1 % this year.
That's a far cry from the annual 10 to 15 % hikes employers were reporting at the beginning of the decade.
According to Mercer, faced with the 2014 implementation of health care reform, employers are making a greater effort to control their costs, shifting more of the expense and risk on to their employees.
The survey also noticed for the first time in three years, more employers offer health care coverage in 2012.
