MIDLAND -- A building that will soon host a dozen non-profits held a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday.

The old Hillcrest School location on North "A" Street will now be Shared Spaces.

Once the building is up and running, non-profits like Make-A-Wish, Communities In Schools, S.H.A.R.E., Keep Midland Beautiful, and Agape Ministries will all have offices at the building.

The non-profits will share their copiers, phones, and other services in order to save money.

Renovations are set to begin in January 2013.
