ODESSA -- Ector County I.S.D. Police find 2 toy guns in a student's backpack at Odessa High School.

E.C.I.S.D. officials say that they got an anonymous tip through Student Crimestoppers about a student having a gun in an Odessa High School classroom around 3:10 PM Thursday.

E.C.I.S.D. Police and Odessa High School administrators searched all students in the classroom, along with their possessions.

Officers then found 2 toy guns in a student's backpack.

E.C.I.S.D. officials say that since the gun was a fake, no criminal charges will be filed.

However, the student who had the toy guns  -- whose name has not been released -- will face disciplinary action through the school.
