By: News Release
Updated: November 16, 2012
MIDLAND -- The Permian Basin Chapter of the American Red Cross responded last evening to the collision incident in Midland. Two volunteers and two staff members provided canteening support to the first responders and other assisting agency personnel until 10:30 PM.

Chapter leadership is in contact with the various organizations and agencies responding to this incident and will respond as needs specific to our mission are identified. Because this incident affected so many military personnel/veterans, our Services to Armed Forces Call Center have been alerted to provide assistance to the families and can be reached at 1-877-272-7337.

Red Cross is currently taking donations for Disaster Relief Services which support our response efforts as demonstrated yesterday. We do understand that there are supporting groups collecting funds for those affected.
