ODESSA -- The flu can lay many people low during the fall and winter months.

Usually the best way to protect yourself is through a flu shot, but many people are afraid of needles.

However, there is an alternative form of vaccination -- a flu mist.

The vaccination is available for free in Odessa on Monday and Tuesday.

The Medical Center Hospital Family Health Clinic held a Flu Mist Clinic at the Ector County I.S.D. Administration Building on Monday afternoon.

Health officials will be back at the administration building to offer the same services from 1 PM to 4 PM on November 20th.

The flu mist is free for anyone between the ages of 3 and 49 who doesn't have asthma.
