Scientists have discovered a new smell. They are calling the smell "olfactory white" because it has parallels with both white light and white noise.
It's made up of more than 40 different smelly compounds. Scientists found the more components in a mixture, the worse people were at telling them apart...they all smelled alike.
For now, you'll only be able to take a whiff of "olfactory white" in a lab.
