2 Arrested For Cocaine Possession In Pecos County

PECOS COUNTY -- Two Fort Stocktonites are facing charges for cocaine possession.

    Jose Tico Primera and Juanita Campos were arrested on November 15th.

    According to The Fort Stockton Pioneer, Pecos County Sheriff's deputies pulled over the at blue Honda vehicle that Primera and Campos were reportedly riding in about 18 miles north of Fort Stockton for a traffic stop on November 15th.

    During the stop, a K-9 officer -- Quitro -- caught the scent of cocaine.

    Deputies searched the vehicle, and they reportedly found an undetermined amount of cocaine inside.

    After the discovery, Primera and Campos were taken into custody.

    Pecos County Sheriff's deputies and U.S. Border Patrol agents also reportedly found several weapons, ammunition and drug paraphernalia in Primera's home during the execution of a search warrant.

    Now, Primera is charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

    Campos is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

    As of Friday, both Primera and Campos had bonded out of jail.
