Boy Dies After Pickup Truck Runs Over Him In Lubbock

LUBBOCK -- A young boy is killed after a pickup truck runs over him in a Lubbock parking lot.

    Lubbock Police say that Carlos Gonzalez ran from his mother while the two were walking through a parking lot on November 22nd.

    Gonzalez, 3, reportedly ran right into the path a of pickup truck that was backing up nearby.

    The pickup truck then ran the boy over.

    Gonzalez was pinned under the truck for a few minutes before E.M.S. crews could free him and rush him to University Medical Center in Lubbock.

    Gonzalez was seriously injured in the incident, and he passed away around 10:20 PM on November 22nd.

    There's no word if the driver of the pickup truck that hit Gonzalez will face any charges or citations for the incident.
