Actor Larry Hagman - Dallas' JR has passed away

DALLAS -- Actor Larry Hagman, who is best known for playing J-R Ewing on the long-running 80s T-V show "Dallas" has died.

Dallas T-V stations reporting Hagman died in a Dallas hospital after battling cancer. Hagman recently revived his role as J-R Ewing on the new version of "Dallas".

He was also on the 60s T-V series "I Dream of Jeannie".

Hagman was 81-years-old.
