MIDLAND -- A semi-private golf club in Midland is unveiling its plans for the future.

The Ranchland Hills Golf Course and Club came under new ownership this May 2012.

On Monday, the new Ranchland Hills Golf Course and Club hosted a lunch to show case it's upgraded facilities and new menu.

Owners say the new bent grass greens are finished, and the blue prints for the new 20,000 square-foot club house are in the final stages.

"We're going to have a new creek that we're putting in that's in front of the clubhouse that will meander through the lawn area and the patio area," John Morrow of Ranchland Golf Course and Club told Big 2. "So everyone that's out dining with us or having an event will enjoy some running water for a change."

Owners say the new indoor - outdoor clubhouse and event center should be complete by next summer.
