Carlsbad (NM) Police Investigating Armed Robbery At Shop And Go

CARLSBAD, NM -- Carlsbad, NM Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store.

    Carlsbad Police say that two people robbed the Shop and Go at 2212 West Lea Street in Carlsbad, NM at gunpoint around 9:30 PM on November 28th.

    The robbers got away with an unknown amount of cash from the register and took off running northbound on 6th Street.

    Police say some evidence was collected at the scene, and officers also got a copy of the surveillance video which reportedly showed the robbery occurring.

    Both robbers were reportedly men between 5'8" and 5'10" who sounded young.

    Officers say that robbers also had handguns on them.

    One robber was wearing a black or dark blue hooded sweater with his face covered in a white mask, blue jeans or sweats, and gloves.

    The other robber was wearing a blue hooded sweater with his face covered in a white mask, blue jeans and gloves.
