The number of people filing for first-time unemployment benefits is down as more people go back to work following Superstorm Sandy.

The Labor Department reports 393,000 filed for initial jobless claims last week.

That's down from 416,000 a week earlier.

Economists say it may still take a few more weeks before initial claims fall back to pre-storm levels.
