Big Spring Police Preparing To Move To New Law Enforcement Center

By: Dylan Brooks
Updated: December 4, 2012
BIG SPRING -- It's the end of an era in Big Spring.

Big Spring Police will be moving from their offices on East 4th Street to the new Troy M. Hogue Memorial Law Enforcement Center along Business 20 in Big Spring on December 7th.

Police and the Howard County Sheriff's Office will share the new law enforcement center.

The old police station -- which has been in operation since 1956 -- will shut down at noon on December 7th.

Big Spring Police say that emergency services won't be interrupted by the move -- since 911 and non-emergency phone lines will already be working at the new facility at the time of the move.
